We’re tying the knot!

It all started in the summer of 2009 at The Candlelight Lounge in the historic Treme'. Julius played the sousaphone on stage with the Treme' Brass Band while I danced the night away. Being new to town, he invited me to see him play at Preservation Hall. Of course I said yes; I had just moved to New Orleans after all!

The next day, I asked him out on a date. To my surprise, he took me to a sushi restaurant where he ordered in Japanese and afterwards, taught me how to play chess. By the end of the night, we had our first kiss. By the end of the summer, we were inseparable. 

Twelve years, two children and one chololate schnauzer later, we’re now settled in beautiful Treme' where we first met. After our New Years reconciliation, we have kept busy planning our union and enjoying a life of recovery together. 

We’re so excited for the next chapter of our lives. Thank you for sharing this special day with us and making the trip out to New Orleans. We’ll see y'all April 16th!
